Sherpa Matterhorn Sport Series Roof Rack | Toyota 4Runner (1996-2002)

Sherpa developed their Matterhorn Sport Roof Rack for those who want to be able to carry their gear on a low-profile roof rack. Unlike the Peak Series Matterhorn Rack, the Sport series Matterhorn rack features a lighter weight design and lower profile side rails that are constructed out of 3/16 inch aluminum. Don't be fooled though, this rack can support an impressive 400 pounds static and 150 pounds dynamic.

Like Sherpa's flagship Matterhorn rack, the Matterhorn Sport Series features the same drill free mount design that does not require any silicone. Additionally, an aluminum wind deflector and noise reducing edge trim is included with your order.

This rack comes standard with a black powder coat finish and black oxide stainless hardware.

Installation

The Matterhorn roof rack installation can be completed right at home in just a couple hours in most cases. The rack was designed to be completely bolt on and does not require any drilling or special tools. All orders will come with easy to read instructions along with vehicle specific mounting hardware including mounting brackets for an easy installation.
