About Talons Garage

Talons Garage was established in 2021 and manufactures skid plates and related components for many popular vehicles including Toyota, Ford, Nissan, Chevy, GMC, and more. They are a proud husband and wife team who both have Advanced Practice nursing degrees.

Talons Garage was born out of the need to protect catalytic converters from theft. Since inception, they have perfected their catalytic converter protection plates but also developed an impressive line of other bolt-on skid plates including full skid plate packages, engine skid plates, transmission skid plates, and transfer case skid plates. All their skid plates are made in the U.S.A. (Houston, TX) and there are options available for most vehicles on the market including some of the underserved vehicles including the Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, and Nissan Titan.

Talons Garage Skid Plates

Talons Garage skid plates are available as a skid plate package or individually. Regardless of what you choose, rest assured that the quality and functionality of all Talons Garage skid plates is impressive and they will work overtime to protect vital components on your rig. Talons Garage Full Skid Plate Packages

Talons full skid plate packages are a great way to ensure everything is adequately protected from front to back. These kits include the engine skid, transmission skid, catalytic converter shield, and transfer case skid. Every kit mounts directly to holes on the vehicle and comes in either 1/4 inch aluminum or 3/16 inch steel skid plates with zing-coated hardware.

If you are not quite ready to invest in complete protection, Talons Garage offers engine skid plates designed to protect the bottom side of the engine including the oil pan, radiator, steering components, and more. Aluminum and steel options are available for most makes and models. Talon engine skids are installed directly into factory locations with no vehicle modification required.

It all started with Talons Transmission/Catalytic converter protection plate. Not only does this product deter theft, but it also offers maximum protection for vital components from impact. While this comes standard in full skid packages it can be a great one-off purchase for those who don't necessarily need full protection but want to limit the potential for theft of their catalytic converter while also adding protection at the same time.

The transfer case is another exposed area on your vehicle and can be susceptible to impact, especially for those who find themselves on tougher trails. Talons Garage transfer case skid plates provide the necessary protection to keep the adventure going.
