Prinsu Rack Shield Plates

The Prinsu Shield Plates allow you to customize the look of your Prinsu Roof Rack while also adding strength to the design.

Prinsu developed their shield plates as an overlay to the standard Prinsu side plates and wind deflector. They line up to the pre-drilled holes on the Prinsu rack side rails and wind deflector and install using the same hardware as your Prinsu roof rack.

While the option to order the shield plates in a color such as bare aluminum, white, or grey is an excellent way to make your rack stand out from the rest, adding these shield plates makes your rack 53% thicker. This increase in thinkness adds overall strength to the design allowing the rack to handle anything thrown its way. Note, these must be used with a Prinsu Roof Rack.

Installation

Installation is seamless and can generally be done relatively quickly. Simply remove the bolts from your Prinsu Rack and overlay the shield plates. Re-insert the removed hardware through the shield pates. You are good to go.
