The Dirt King Long Travel Shackles are designed to increase rear suspension travel and improve overall articulation when using long-travel suspension systems. These shackles replace stock shackles with an engineered, extended length solution that allows the rear axle to move more freely without binding, helping unlock additional droop and enhancing performance over rough terrain.

Built from heavy-duty steel with precision-cut construction, the Dirt King Long Travel Shackles offer a strong and reliable connection between the leaf springs and the chassis while maintaining proper geometry. They allow your suspension to better absorb bumps and transitions, resulting in a smoother ride and improved traction during off-road driving.

Installation

The Dirt King Steering Clevis Kit installs by bolting the clevis brackets to your factory steering rack’s ends. Position each clevis so the heim joint aligns with the steering linkage, then secure the included Grade 8 hardware, spacers, and bolts according to the recommended torque specifications. Proper alignment through full suspension travel should be checked to ensure smooth steering without binding.
