The Dirt King Steering Clevis Kit is an essential steering component developed to complement long-travel and high-articulation suspension systems on GM trucks. Designed to bolt directly to the factory steering rack, the clevis kit keeps the steering heim joint positioned as close as possible to the rack’s tie-rod end to minimize bump steer — a common issue when upgrading suspension travel on lifted or performance vehicles

Compact yet rugged, this steering clevis kit is intended for off-road use and works with ¾″ heim joints. It provides a simpler, more reliable steering linkage connection that helps maintain steering geometry throughout increased suspension travel and articulation.

Installation

Bolt the steering clevis brackets onto the ends of the factory steering rack using the supplied clevis bolts, heim spacers, and Grade-8 hardware. Position each clevis so the heim joint aligns with your steering linkage ends, then torque all hardware to specification. After installation, check steering travel and full suspension articulation to ensure smooth, bind-free steering motion.
