Dirt King Prerunner Front Bumper | Ram 1500 (2009-2018)

The Dirt King Prerunner Front Bumper is a robust off-road front bumper designed to give your 2009–2018 Ram 1500 (2WD or 4WD) both a rugged aesthetic and dependable structural strength on the trail. Its CAD-designed DOM tubing construction and reinforced frame horns built from 1/8″ and 3/16″ steel plate help ensure the bumper can withstand heavy off-road impacts and repeated use.

The standard configuration ships in raw metal with an aluminum Dirt King skid plate, and multiple finish options — including powder coat and custom colors — let you tailor the look to match your build. This bumper bolts directly into the factory frame mounting holes, and it works with either the factory valance or aftermarket valances such as the Fiberwerx style (trimming may be required for certain valance profiles).

Designed with accessory mounting in mind, the bumper supports a variety of lighting options from Dirt King’s lighting roster, so you can outfit your rig with up to eight auxiliary lights depending on the configuration (e.g., Squadron or XL Series lights).

Installation

Bolt the bumper into the factory frame mounting holes using included hardware. For models without a straight valance or with certain aftermarket valances, trim the valance as needed for proper fitment. Follow supplied instructions and torque fasteners to specification. Recommended alignment of skid plate and lighting accessories ensure proper clearance and performance.
