Dirt King Long Travel Kit | Toyota 4Runner (2010-2024)

The Dirt King Long Travel Kit (DK-814908) is a purpose-built front suspension upgrade designed to drastically enhance off-road wheel articulation, ground clearance, and handling on compatible 4WD and 2WD vehicles — especially popular Toyota platforms like the 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, and Lexus GX without KDSS. This long travel suspension system increases available wheel travel to approximately 13.5 inches, allowing for greater articulation and improved traction across rough terrain without sacrificing everyday drivability.

Featuring 1″ stainless steel uniballs at the outer pivots and robust lower arm construction, the system is engineered to outperform stock suspension limits while retaining a bolt-on install with minimal vehicle modifications. Built and tested in the USA, the kit combines strength, precision engineering, and practical tuning options — including compatibility with bypass shocks, coilovers, and optional 1″ diff drop or CV machining for 4WD setups — to keep your truck performing where the road ends and the trail begins.

This product is designed to pair with OEM and Dirt King parts. Compatibility with other brands must be approved by the respective manufacturer.

Installation

Replace stock upper and lower arms with the Dirt King long travel arms and limit strap mounts, using included hardware. Extend brake lines and install misalignment spacers, then trim wheel wells/firewall pinch weld as needed for full 35″ tire clearance. Torque all fasteners to spec.
