Dirt King 2.0 IFP Smooth Body Shocks | Toyota Tundra (2022-2025)

The Dirt King 2.0 IFP Smooth Body Shocks are designed specifically for 2022+ Toyota Tundra (2WD / 4WD) to upgrade rear damping while delivering enhanced ride comfort and greater articulation. Engineered to match Dirt King’s 2.0 IFP front coilovers, these shocks reduce harshness over technical terrain without sacrificing smoothness on the street.

Built with performance in mind, they use 2″ hard-anodized 6061 aluminum bodies, induction-hardened 5⁄8″ shafts, and an internal floating piston (IFP) design to manage heat and maintain consistent damping under varying loads. These upgrades allow them to support up to 3″ of lift, making them suitable for lifted rigs or for accommodating accessories without overloading stock components.

Every set ships with two shocks, shock shaft boots, and all required mounting hardware. Installation is bolt-on using factory mounting points. With compatibility maintained with OEM or Dirt King parts, these shocks are both practical and durable—backed by a one-year warranty

This product is designed to pair with OEM and Dirt King parts. Compatibility with other brands must be approved by the respective manufacturer.

Installation

Remove the factory rear shocks. Bolt in the DK-816885R shocks using the factory mounting points, fitting the included boots and hardware. Ensure proper torque on all fasteners per Toyota spec. Check for clearance at full droop and bump. After installation, drive for about 50-100 miles then re-check fasteners and verify ride height and damping feel.
