It is recommended that you either paint or powdercoat the Skid Plate immediately upon receiving it to ensure maximum rust and corrosion resistance.

The C4 Rear Diff Skid Plate for the Gen 2 (2005-2015) Toyota Tacoma comes with an optional E-locker guard and will work on all Tacomas with a 8.4" differential.This Skid Plate also features a completely bolt-on design.

Installation

Installation of this C4 Fab Rear Diff Skid Plate for the 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma does take time and general automotive experience is beneficial. This Skid Plate is completely bolt-on. It is estimated that the full installation time is around an hour. Having a second person is very helpful and if you do not feel comfortable doing this, we suggest finding a local shop to complete the install.
