The Tacoma Center Console Box is designed as a direct-fit replacement for the 2016–2023 Tacoma factory console. Does this fit the 4th Gen Tacoma (2024+)?
No. This box is engineered for the 3rd Generation Toyota Tacoma produced from 2016 through 2023. The 4th Gen Tacoma launched with a redesigned console and requires a different fitment. Contact us if you need help identifying the correct box for your vehicle.
Is the box uniquely keyed?
Yes. Every BOSS StrongBox Tacoma Center Console Box ships with its own unique key — no two boxes share the same key from the factory. Replacement keys are available through Boss.
Will it work with the manual-transmission Tacoma?
The console layout differs slightly between automatic and manual transmission trims. In most cases the StrongBox is designed around the automatic console. If you drive a manual, verify fitment against Boss's install photos before ordering or contact us for confirmation.
Can I still use the factory armrest?
In most cases the factory console lid/armrest is not compatible with the StrongBox because the StrongBox replaces the storage cavity itself. Refer to Boss's install photos for your specific trim.
