The JLU QDHD Roof Rack is built for the toughest gear-loading scenarios. Fabricated from ¼″ aircraft-grade aluminum side plates and finished with black textured powder coat, it presents a refined look while delivering serious overland capability. The system includes a modular two-piece design with billet quick-release knobs, allowing for rapid removal and reinstallation as your setup demands.
With ten adjustable crossbars, full-length mounting tracks, and a robust load path, this rack accommodates heavy loads, rooftop tents, lighting banks, and more. Whether you’re carrying expedition cargo, recovery gear, or just optimizing your platform, the QDHD gives you a strong foundation.
Installation is engineered for serious use: mounting hardware and structural brackets are included, and the system is designed for long term durability, corrosion resistance, and modular adaptability. The quick-release capability means you can adapt your configuration—removing sections or the whole rack—without compromising rigidity.
Start by unpacking the rack components and verifying all included hardware and brackets. Position the side plates and crossbars onto the mounting surface, aligning with the mounting points and fixing all brackets securely. Insert crossbars and adjust spacing based on your gear layout. Use the quick-release knobs to secure or remove the rack sections as needed. Once aligned and leveled, torque all bolts to specification and verify the load path is properly engaged. Double-check for clearance and that the rack sits flush and stable before loading gear.
