Dirt King Long Travel Kit | Ford F-150 (2004-2008)

The Dirt King Long Travel Kit (DK-922908) is a high-performance front suspension upgrade developed to dramatically improve off-road handling and wheel articulation on 2004–2008 Ford F-150 trucks while maintaining daily-drive comfort. This CAD-designed system provides up to 12″ of wheel travel, accepts up to 37″ tires, and widens the front track for greater stability and control on rugged terrain. Designed to work on both 2WD and 4WD models (4WD requires extended axle shafts), it features robust arms and geometry that allow for enhanced articulation without compromising strength.

Upper and lower control arms use 1″ stainless steel uniballs (or poly bushings option) instead of weaker ball joints for durability and articulation. The kit includes limit straps, extended brake lines, alignment cams, and other components to help get your build installed and dialed, with the option to add bypass shocks for premium dampening.

This product is designed to pair with OEM and Dirt King parts. Compatibility with other brands must be approved by the respective manufacturer.

Installation

Install the long travel kit by replacing the factory upper and lower front control arms with Dirt King boxed arms, mounting limit straps and extended brake lines, and installing alignment cams. Minor wheel well and firewall pinch-weld trimming may be required for full 37″ tire clearance. Torque all hardware to specifications and perform a professional alignment post-installation.
