It is recommended that you either paint or powdercoat the Skid Plate immediately upon receiving them to ensure maximum rust and corrosion resistance.

The C4 Front Engine Skid Plate for the Gen 3 (2016+) Toyota Tacoma comes with incorporated oil drain and oil filter covers that can be easily removed to access those areas. This Skid Plate also features a completely bolt-on design.

Installation

The installation of this C4 Fab Front Skid Plate for the 2016+ Toyota Tacoma does take time and general automotive experience is beneficial. This Skid Plate is completely bolt-on. It is estimated that the full installation time is upwards of a couple hours. Having a second person is very helpful and if you do not feel comfortable doing this, we suggest finding a local shop to complete the install.
