  • Dirt King 1.25" Overall Mounting Width Shock Spacer

Machined from robust 17-4 stainless steel for strength and durability.

    • Designed for a 1.25″ overall mounting width measurement.
    • Works with 1/2″ mounting bolts and 5/8″ ID bearings.
    • Helps align shock mounting for correct geometry and smooth operation.
    • Prevents unwanted movement, binding, or misalignment in shock mounts.
    • CNC machining ensures accurate dimensional control.

The Dirt King 1.25″ Overall Mounting Width Shock Spacer is a precision-machined component designed to help ensure proper shock fitment when mounting shocks with a specific overall width requirement. Made from high-quality 17-4 stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance, these spacers are designed to fit between the shock mount and the shock bearing to take up lateral space and align the shock properly in the mount. They work with both Fox and King shock designs, making them versatile for use in upgraded suspension setups.

These spacers are ideal when your shock bearing spacing doesn’t match the shock tab width, helping prevent binding and premature wear while maintaining smooth suspension articulation. Because each spacer is sold individually, you can select only what you need to fine-tune the fitment of your shocks.

    Specifications

    • Overall Mounting Width: 1.25″
    • Material: 17-4 stainless steel
    • Bolt Size Compatibility: 1/2″ mounting bolt
    • Bearing ID: Designed for 5/8″ ID bearing

    Installation

To install, place the spacer over the shock bearing and align it with the shock mount tab so that the overall mounting width equals 1.25″. Use the appropriate 1/2″ mounting bolt to secure the shock eyelet and spacer assembly into the mount. Make sure all components are seated correctly and torque fasteners to the shock manufacturer’s specifications. When used in pairs, these spacers help maintain consistent geometry and prevent binding during compression and rebound cycles.
