The Dirt King Long Travel Axle Shafts (DK-541948) are engineered to retain proper 4WD driveline function when increasing suspension travel using a Dirt King long travel suspension system. On stock configurations, factory axle shafts can bottom out or bind at high articulation angles caused by extended travel, leading to premature wear or drivetrain damage. These extended axle shafts provide the correct length and increased articulation range to prevent binding and maintain smooth, reliable power delivery through full suspension travel.

Built with high-strength materials and assembled with precision-inspected OEM cores, the long travel axle shafts deliver durability and balanced operation for serious off-road applications. Each shaft is heat-treated for strength and finished with new CV boots and premium CV grease to ensure reliable service life.

Installation

Remove the stock front axle shafts and install the Dirt King Long Travel Axle Shafts, ensuring the CV joints and shafts are aligned correctly with the differential output and knuckles. Torque all fasteners to the manufacturer’s specifications and verify boot sealing and CV alignment before use.
