Dirt King Prefab Bed Cage | GMC Sierra 1500 (2019-2025)

The Dirt King Prefab Bed Cage is a rugged rear suspension support structure designed to improve rear suspension performance without occupying excessive bed space. Engineered after extensive custom fabrication experience, it bolts together and mounts to your frame once the supplied brackets are welded in place. It works with both leaf over or leaf under spring setups and offers improved shock geometry by mounting shocks vertically with a near 1:1 motion ratio — reducing heat buildup and enabling better shock tuning versus traditional cantilever systems. Accessory mounting holes in the center section make it easy to add dust lights, flag whips, or other gear.

Built with CAD-designed boxed plate and tube construction, the bed cage balances strength with minimal intrusion into usable bed area. Its shock mounts sit outside the frame rails for added stability and better energy absorption during suspension travel. Designed and fabricated in the USA, this prefab cage is ideal for trucks that need enhanced rear travel and control without a fully custom cage build.

Installation

The Prefab Bed Cage kit bolts together and mounts to your truck frame after welding on the provided brackets. Both leaf over and leaf under spring packs can be used without significant modification. Shock mounts are designed to accept recommended length and diameter shocks to maximize travel and suspension performance. Installation should be done by a qualified fabricator familiar with welding to truck frames.
