  • Dirt King Over-sized Rear Wheel Wells | GMC Sierra 1500 (1999-2018)

    • CAD-designed to follow the truck bed contours precisely.
    • Provides increased clearance for larger tires and more suspension up-travel.
    • Pre-welded construction for strength and easier installation.
    • Ideal for lifted, long-travel, or aggressive tire builds.
    • Rugged steel construction built for demanding use.
    • Works well with aftermarket suspension and wheel/tire setups.

The Dirt King Over-Sized Rear Wheel Wells are engineered to give your truck additional clearance for larger tires and increased suspension up-travel. These wheel wells are CAD-designed to perfectly match the contours of the truck bed, allowing more room inside the wheel arches without rubbing or contacting the bed metal. They come pre-welded for strength and precision, ready for final installation.

By replacing the factory wheel well with a larger unit, you can run more aggressive tire sizes and suspension travel without having to compromise on clearance or performance. Designed to be a long-lasting structural upgrade, these wheel wells help maximize the usable space inside the wheelhouse area—especially beneficial on lifted or long-travel builds.

Installation requires cutting out the factory wheel wells and welding the oversized wells in place, providing a secure and permanent solution for improved tire and suspension clearance. The price includes one pair of wheel wells, everything shown in the photos and ready for fabrication.

    Installation

Installation requires cutting out the stock wheel well sections from the truck bed and preparing the surface for welding. The oversized wheel wells are then aligned, fit, and welded in place by a qualified fabricator. Because this is a structural modification to the bed area, proper welding techniques and safety procedures should be followed. After welding, the wells can be primed/painted or finished with protective coatings to suit your build and prevent corrosion.
