Dirt King Lower Arm Weld Washers | GMC Sierra 1500 (2007-2018)

The Dirt King Lower Arm Weld Washers are engineered to reinforce the lower control arm pivot points on your vehicle’s frame. Over time and under load — especially with lifted or heavily used vehicles — factory control arm tabs can stretch or deform, leading to slop, poor alignment, and compromised suspension performance. These weld washers distribute load across a larger surface area and help prevent ovaling or tearing around the pivot holes.

Laser-cut from 1/8″ thick chromoly steel, these washers are designed to contour precisely to the stock lower arm tabs. When welded in place, they provide a strong reinforcement that increases durability and longevity under demanding conditions. This kit includes enough weld washers to reinforce both lower control arms.

Installation

To install the Lower Arm Weld Washers, position the provided chromoly washers around the lower control arm pivot holes on the frame, matching the contour of the existing tab surface. Tack-weld each washer in place, then complete the weld around the entire perimeter to ensure a strong reinforcement weld. Proper surface preparation and welding technique are recommended for optimal strength and longevity.
