  • Dirt King Boxed Core Supports | GMC Sierra 1500 (1999-2006)

    • Boxed and reinforced core support replaces OEM front core support for added strength.
    • Provides clearance for larger shocks and tires used in long-travel suspension builds.
    • Adjustable mounting tabs make it easier to install fiberglass bumper shells or custom front skins.
    • Durable construction for rugged off-road use and performance builds.
    • Designed to bolt into factory mounting locations for a clean, secure fit.

The Dirt King Boxed Core Support is a reinforced front-end replacement designed to give your truck extra clearance and durability when upgrading to long-travel suspension systems. It replaces the stock core support and wheel-well structure with a stronger, boxed design that creates room for larger shocks and tires by making more space in the engine bay area. Adjustable tabs are built into the support for easier mounting of aftermarket fiberglass bumper shells and other custom front-end components. The core support is engineered to bolt directly in place on compatible GM trucks and doesn’t require major modifications to the frame or chassis.

    Specifications

    • Includes: Boxed core support assembly
    • Material: Reinforced boxed steel construction
    • Mounting Type: Bolt-in (direct replacement for stock core support)
    • Finish: Raw steel

    Compatibility

    GMC Sierra 1500 2WD / 4WD 1999-2006

    Installation

Installation of the Boxed Core Support involves removing the factory core support and wheel-well structure, then bolting the Dirt King support into the existing mounting points on the frame. Because it features adjustable tabs, you can align and secure fiberglass bumper shells or custom fronts more easily than with many stock supports. Ensure all mounting hardware is properly torqued and verify alignment with adjacent body panels and accessories before driving.
