Installation

To install the Front Frame Plate Kit, position the plate against the frame rail between the firewall and the front coil bucket mounts. Prepare the frame surface by cleaning and removing paint or rust where the plate will be welded. Tack-weld the plate in place, then complete welds along the perimeter to secure the reinforcement. Because this is a weld-in component, professional welding and appropriate safety procedures are strongly recommended. After installation, inspect welds and frame alignment before putting the vehicle back into service.
