They provide a dependable mounting foundation that maintains stability even on rough roads—yet they're not mandatory for simpler installations.

Note: Flarespace trim rings may affect fitment. Not compatible with Transit 130, Transit Mid Roof, or Passenger vans.

Installation

Mount brackets directly to Transit’s internal metal studs using included hardware and PEM nuts. Position as needed for desired bed height, then bolt your Transit Bed System or custom platform to the brackets. No welding required. Basic tools suffice—installation takes approximately 1–2 hours.
