Great bedrack at a decent price – included hardware leaves something to be desired.

2020 Tacoma Quad Cab, Long Bed – Long bed CBI Overland Bed Rack. I bought this after owning my KB Voodoo Hi Rise crossbars. They were a solid product, but did not offer good bed storage. I learned of the CBI overland bedrack after seeing a youtube video on a build that had one. I ordered without hesitation and received my bedrack after 2.5 months. The welds are beautifully run. I opted for the powder coating and I am glad I did. The coating looks smooth and is very resilient to any bumps or dings. I have plenty of room to get into my bed now. I cant easily reach my arms through the sides to push items deep in the bed to the tailgate. I have a Smittybuilt XL tent mounted on. With the tent, my gear, mattress topper, me and my wife, we are at a whopping 700 lbs sitting on this rack. It is INCREDIBLY stable. I mean it feels like it wont go anywhere. My wife even made a comment that it felt more stable on this rack than the KB Voodoo Hi Rise crossbars. My only issue with the product is the included hardware that comes with the rack. It is the cheapest chinese garbage I have seen in a while. One of the bolts head was split where you can see how the machine rolled the steel together. Half the nuts wouldnt even go on the bolts more than halfway before snapping completely due to differences in thread and pitch. I would expect a bedrack at this price to come with good hardware. A trip to ACE hardware fixed this issue right up though. I would recommend this product to anyone out there looking for a VERY good quality rack that is extremely stout and good looking at the same time.
