The bike rack bracket buckled

The product was shipped without the correct hardware, replacement parts were shipped quickly so this was a very small issue. Here’s some of the results from the initial test drive. I installed the rack on the driver side of my 2018 Toyota Tacoma and attached a Cannondale Sorra road bike, it weights about 25 pounds. I took a few slow laps around the neighborhood and the rack looked very bouncy. I then did about a mile of highway where it seemed slightly more stable, as there were less bumps and turns. After arriving to my destination I reversed into a parking spot when the front bracket bent significantly. This caused the front of my bike to lean very far inboard. On the way home I had to pass up the highway and used only back roads to avoid any more excessive forces on the front bracket. I also loosely attached a rope in the event the bracket failed completely. I sent in this same review and photos to a company rep but have not heard anything back. In the photos the more damaged bracket with the paint chipping off is the one that held the front wheel of my bike. I was really looking forward to enjoying this product and I am glad I only did a close-to-home test run before attempting to go across country or worse off road.
