Dirt King 2.0 IFP Smooth Body Shocks | Toyota Tacoma (2024-2025)

These 2.0 IFP Smooth Body Shocks are engineered to significantly upgrade the rear suspension of the 2024+ Tacoma by offering a much smoother ride over uneven terrain. Featuring an internal floating piston (IFP) design and a lightweight, hard-anodized aluminum body, they deliver better damping over washboards, dips, and rough roads. They pair especially well with the Dirt King 2.0 IFP front coilovers to balance handling and ride comfort.

Built for strength and durability, these shocks include induction-hardened 5⁄8″ shafts, shock boots, and vehicle-specific valving tuned to match factory mounting points. They allow for lift in the rear — up to 2″ on some applications (Tacoma) or 1.5″ on others (Tundra). Rebuildable and serviceable, they use quality components throughout.

Installation is bolt-on and uses existing mounting locations. The shocks come with all needed hardware plus instructions. Whether you’re replacing worn OE shocks or enhancing your suspension for mild off-road duty, these are a capable upgrade that enhances comfort without drastic changes. This product does not fit XtraCab body styles equipped with leaf springs.

This product is designed to pair with OEM and Dirt King parts. Compatibility with other brands must be approved by the respective manufacturer..

Installation

Remove the OE rear shocks and replace with the Dirt King 2.0 IFP units. Mount upper and lower ends using factory hardware with torque per vehicle spec, install shaft boots, and ensure lift doesn’t exceed the application’s max (2″ or 1.5″ depending on model). Drive vehicle off jack stands so suspension is loaded when torqued, re-check all bolts after ~50-100 miles.
