Built with strength, durability, and coverage in mind, the C4 2010+ 4Runner Full Skid Plates are constructed from CNC cut 3/16 inch steel. Please note that these skid plates ship bare steel. It is recommended that you either paint or powdercoat the Skid Plates immediately upon receiving them to ensure maximum rust and corrosion resistance.

The C4 Full Skid Plate Package for the Gen 5 (2010+) Toyota 4Runner comes with a total of (3) Skid Plates including an Engine Skid Plate, Transmission Skid Plate, and Transfer Case Skid Plate. All of these Skid Plates offer wide coverage for vital components. Forget about taking off the Skid Plates for an oil change. C4 has incorporated oil drain and oil filter covers that can be easily removed to access those areas. These Skid Plates also feature a completely bolt-on design.

Installation

The installation of these C4 Fab Full Skid Plates for the 2010+ Toyota 4Runner does take time and general automotive experience is beneficial. These Skid Plates are completely bolt-on. It is estimated that the full installation time is upwards to 3-4 hours. Having a second person is very helpful and if you do not feel comfortable doing this, we suggest finding a local shop to complete the install.
