The Dirt King Long Travel Axle Assembly (DK‑812975) is a precision‑engineered extended axle solution designed to retain full 4WD driveline function when paired with a Dirt King long travel suspension system on vehicles such as Toyota 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, and Lexus GX models (4WD). Standard factory axle shafts are not long enough to accommodate the increased suspension articulation created by long travel systems, which can lead to binding, premature wear, or driveline failure. These extended axle assemblies eliminate that problem by providing the correct length and articulation range for smooth, reliable 4WD performance throughout the travel cycle.

Each assembly is built with high‑strength components and feature heat‑treated extended axle shafts that can be selected in either 4340 chromoly or a stronger 300M steel option depending on your performance needs. The axles are assembled around inspected OEM axle cores that are fitted with new CV boots and premium CV grease, ensuring long service life and dependable operation on‑road and off.
