The 18-inch Thorax Overland Bed Rack was built for adventure and to carry the gear you need such as MAXTRAX, RotoPaX, any Roof Top Tent brand, all while easily fitting any truck on the market today. Chassis Unlimited designed the Thorax Truck Bed Rack with the ability to fully adjust the width between 53-inches to 64-inches allowing this Overland Rack to easily fit all beds. The length of the rack is fixed with two options available, 46-inches for short beds or 58-inches for trucks wit ha 6 foot or longer bed. As the name suggests this rack sits 18-inches from the top of the bed rails which makes this ideal for those with a larger roof top tent, need the additional clearance for gear in the bed, or even want the possibility of carrying gear such as kayaks. The universal mounting patterns on the top and sides allow you to have the gear you need when setting off on your next adventure.

The Chassis Unlimited Bed Rack allows you to easily mount any RTT such as iKamper, ROAM, OVS, Smittybilt, Front Runner, and more. Of course, you need more than just a tent and the Thorax Overland Bed System can easily accommodate DMOS Shovels, Hi-Lift Jacks, Fire Extinguishers, RotoPaX Fuel or Water Containers, and just about anything else you can imagine. The Overland Bed Rack from Chassis Unlimited is lightweight at only 95lbs but don’t let that make you think it can’t handle your gear. This truck bed rack was constructed of 13G Steel and is rated at a 1500lb static load. This does ship raw still and will require painting or sourcing your own powder coat, however, you can select this to ship powder coated and adventure ready.

Installation

Installing the 18-inch Thorax Overland Bed Rack is designed to be a straightforward process that should only take an hour or so.
